CRT
Screens
CRT
monitors are ruggedized for use in control room, factory floor, or
process applications. They include flat panel displays; touch screen
displays, and CRT (cathode ray tube) computer monitors. |
PLC's
PLCs
(programmable logic controllers) are the control hubs for a wide variety
of automated systems and processes. They contain multiple inputs and
outputs that use transistors and other circuitry to simulate switches
and relays to control equipment. |
Motor
Drives
The
drive is mated to the integral control signals (voltage and power
levels) and signal type (analog or digital). The drive produces power
conversion, amplification, and sequencing of waveform signals; the
motion control component synthesizes control commands with any motor
feedback to control the drive output to the motor to produce the desired
motion. |
Power
Supplies
High
voltage power supplies utilize linear technology to provide one or
more DC outputs at voltage levels of hundreds or thousands of volts.
Some have outputs that are adjustable, either locally or via computer
interface. They are frequently used in specialized applications such
as telecommunications, video technology and medical equipment. |
Encoders
Signal
conditioners that accept encoder and resolver measurements and convert
or condition these signals into digital data or suitable levels. |
Temperature
Control
Temperature
instruments and temperature indicators are designed for temperature
monitoring and display. These instruments either come equipped with
an integral sensor, or require sensor input. Approximately 16% of
all process instrumentation measures, indicates, or controls temperature.

Timers/Counters
A
computer card that can perform digital counting and/or timing functions.
|
Electronic
Boards
Data
acquisition I/O modules or cards with both input and output functionality.
Digital or discrete I/O modules includes on-off signals used in communication,
user interface, or control. Data acquisition is the processing of
multiple electrical or electronic inputs from devices such as sensors,
timers, relays, and solid-state circuits for the purpose of monitoring,
analyzing and/or controlling systems and processes. |
